Gloria Shkurti Özdemir Participated in the 3rd UNITAR International Research Conference (3UIRC) in Brussels

AEGIX is pleased to share that our Director of Research, Gloria Shkurti Özdemir, participated in the 3rd UNITAR International Research Conference (3UIRC), held on December 3-4, 2025 at the UN House in Brussels, Belgium. The conference brought together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, students, and community leaders to explore interdisciplinary approaches to delivering the Sustainable Development Goals.

Under the theme “Bridging Knowledge and Action to Deliver the SDGs,” the conference focused on key areas including quality education (SDG 4), climate action (SDG 13), peace, justice, and strong institutions (SDG 16), and partnerships for the goals (SDG 17). It served as a platform for dialogue on how research, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can contribute to more effective policy and real-world impact.

Gloria’s participation reflected AEGIX’s broader interest in the intersection of emerging technologies, governance, and international policy, while also engaging with wider debates on sustainable development, institutional resilience, and interdisciplinary cooperation. Through forums such as 3UIRC, AEGIX continues to contribute to conversations that connect research with practice and global policy challenges.
